Clinical Psychologist

About this role:
Our client is looking for a passionate psychologist to join their supportive multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural Community Adult Mental Health and Addiction Service team. With this role there will be opportunity to travel within the region when required.
This is a challenging role for someone who is enthusiastic about their work and is keen to make a difference. We are particularly interested in hearing from applicants with experience in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).
Our client is looking for someone who is committed to working with adults experiencing moderate to severe mental health and addiction difficulties.
You will provide a range of psychological services including comprehensive assessments, intervention plans and therapy.

To be successful you will:
• Be registered with the NZ Psychologists Board (or eligible)
• Have experience in psychological assessment using a range of assessment tools with adults who have mental health and addiction difficulties
• Have experience delivering a range of evidence-informed psychological interventions
• Be committed to cultural and ethical competence
• Work well within multidisciplinary teams
